Are you a skilled technician who is eager to take on a new challenge? You might be the ideal candidate to fill the position of our upcoming garage door service technician! In addition to training other technicians, you will be in charge of installing garage doors in residences and commercial buildings. Every day is unique for our technicians because they work on renovations, new installations, and repairs. You will represent our company and interact with customers every day in all of our service areas, so you must be able to provide top-notch service. For this job, you need to know how to use power tools and have a basic understanding of how electrical systems work. If this sounds like a fantastic opportunity, apply right away! Compensation :
20 per hour commission on completed jobs
Responsibilities :
- Ensure that measurements and locations for openings are correct on larger jobs
- Make use of our software for taking notes, generating quotes, and producing invoices
- Perform a thorough inspection and accurate diagnosis of any problems with the existing system, then present the customer with their available options
- Attend all scheduled appointments within the time frame specified by the customer
- Participate in corporate meetings, and observe all of the company's procedures
- Service, sell, and install client and stock gates in residential and commercial applications, per Company processes
- Service, sell, and install access control systems, including but not limited to actuator gate operators, swing and slide pad mounted gate operators, telephone entry systems, and data readers, per Company processes
- Create and present multiple solutions that meet client needs while delivering exceptional customer service
- Record detailed information about the work completed, materials used, and customer interactions to ensure accurate reporting and follow-up
- Coordinate arrival times with clients
- Record keeping to include but not be limited to : client billing, time records, credit card purchases, training, and vehicle inventory on service vehicles.
- To maintain a neat and clean appearance of self, work site, service vehicle, and warehouse, including stocking of inventory on service vehicle
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing other tasks as needed
