About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Team Lead to oversee the smooth operation of our continuous extrusion blow molding machinery and support equipment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving production efficiency, developing technical skills, and ensuring the effective use of resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise maintenance personnel and ensure they have the necessary training and resources to perform their duties effectively.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce downtime and improve machine reliability.
- Purchase spare parts, supplies, and materials required for operations and maintain vendor relationships.
- Collaborate with management to identify trends and areas for improvement and implement changes accordingly.
- Manage plant support systems, supervise outside contractors, and enforce disciplinary action when necessary.
- Maintain daily attendance records and participate in decisions regarding employee hiring and discharge.
- Review predictive maintenance activities and implement changes as needed.
- Provide leadership to create an environment that promotes individual performance, productivity, and self-development.
- Be available 24/7 for on-call duties and inspect completed work for conformance to standards.
- Plan, estimate, and schedule workforce, materials, and machinery to minimize unscheduled downtime.
- Maintain a clean shop and work areas, provide an injury-free work environment, and contribute to capital investment decisions.
- Perform other responsibilities as directed by management.
