Summary
The Quality Control Lead is responsible for selecting proper packaging and label samples for further production for outside delivery.
Key Activities
- Highly motivated with a positive attitude and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and comfortable with overall Manufacturing workflow, working in an effective manner
- Ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions. Advanced communication skills are required
- Communicate quality issues to appropriate personal resolution
- Understand the ANSI Inspection requirement process.
- Excellent understanding of quality requirements, tolerances, and quality inspection processes.
- Effective problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy / consistency
- Have an advanced knowledge of computers (knowledge of PSI and / or Prestige is a plus)
- Meet company and departmental standards, including Customer Requirements, Compliance, Safety, Quality, etc.
- Able to use a densitometer, spectrophotometer, paper caliper, etc.
- Follow ISO Quality Procedures and Work Instructions, and complete forms and checklists as Necessary.
- Follow policies outlined in the company handbook.
- Work extended hours, as business needs dictate.
