Position Overview:
We are seeking an entry-level, highly motivated individual for fiber optics assembly in a clean, air-conditioned environment. The candidate will assemble and fabricate fiber optics components. Test, calibrate, inspect and certify components and modules to meet tolerances and product specifications.
Our client is dedicated to photonics and fiber optic solutions. They offer technology-driven products in areas like laser diodes, optical modulators, photodiode/receivers, RF over fibers links, optical amplifiers, CATV/5G Wireless, test and measurement instruments, and fiber sensing solutions. Their innovative and ground-breaking products serve customers in aerospace, defense, telecom, optical sensing and scientific research.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Good vision and manual dexterity are a must.
- Ability to follow blueprints and read instructions.
- Good communication skills are required.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office software is a plus.
- Knowledge of fiber optics is a plus.
- Work experience in a clean room environment is a plus.
- Knowledge of using Optical fiber splicer, fiber pigtail alignment station, optical microscope and other tools is a plus.
- Individuals will be required to pass drug screening.
