Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee daily office operations and ensure the workplace runs smoothly. This is an hourly position with the potential to transition to a salaried role based on performance and contributions to the team.
The ideal candidate will manage administrative tasks, maintain office efficiency, and foster a positive, productive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day office operations, including supply inventory, facility maintenance, and vendor relationships.
- Supervise and support administrative staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
- Oversee scheduling of meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for team members.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records, files, and documentation.
- Monitor office budgets, process invoices, and track expenses.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for office-related issues and problem-solving.
- Coordinate office events, team-building activities, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Implement and improve office systems and procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and well-functioning office environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager, Administrative Manager, or similar role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with office equipment and tools (e.g., printers, phone systems).
- Budget management and expense tracking experience are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in office management is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in office management or administrative support.
Compensation:
- This is an hourly position with a pay range of $23 to $25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Based on performance, there is an opportunity to transition to a salaried position.
Work Environment:
- This position is primarily office-based and may occasionally require light physical tasks such as lifting office supplies or equipment.
- Regular office hours are 9am to 5pm. Flexibility may be required for special events or deadlines.
