BDR is seeking a Business Analyst to join our growing team! This is a hybrid position that will be performed on-site in Washington, DC. This position requires US Citizenship with an active Top Secret clearance. (Military Veterans are highly encouraged to apply)
Role Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our DOJ team as we continue providing support to modification projects upgrading, working sites and enhancing our capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Defines and documents business processes using standard methodologies and tools.
- Ability to understand the IT application and the business needs of the clients.
- Ability to translate the client's business needs to specific application, operational, and non-functional requirements.
- Ability to document and analyze the required information and data.
- Ability to work with the technical team and the end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.
- Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Translates technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel.
- Possesses strong analytical skills.
- Ability to analyze user procedures.
- Defines system objectives and features.
- Elicits, analyzes, verifies and specifies system requirements and business rules.
- Assists in identifying testing requirements and performing application testing.
- Works closely with technical staff to develop and implement the system.
- Conducts gap analysis.
Qualifications Required Minimum Qualifications
In addition, U.S Citizenship is required. Select applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and be able to obtain a government-granted security clearance. Individuals may also be subject to a background investigation including, but not limited to criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.
