POSITION : TOP SECRET SCI ELIGIBLE SR CYBERSECURITY ENGINEER (AWS TERRAFORM)
- TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION YOU MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE WITH SCI ELIGIBILITY
Hybrid : 3 days a week in Alexandria, VA or Charlottesville, VA
Program Mission : Our Client is working with the Army Military Intelligence (MI) program to support the overall strategy and migration to evaluate and potentially re-invent how Army MI delivers IT services and the use of Intelligence data and analytics to meet mission requirements
Clearance : Top Secret with SCI Eligibility Required
Location : Hybrid 3 days per week on-site in Alexandria, VA or Charlottesville, VA
Team : Will work closely with 5 - 6 other cybersecurity engineers. Will be one of the most senior engineers on the team.
Interview Process : 2 Rounds 1) 30 min video interview with Client 2) 45 min video interview with Prime
Salary : $140k - $175k

Environment Notes :AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, containerized environment,Responsibility Notes :Some information assurance work, helping maintain ATOs, accredidations, participating in actual aws configurations of different systems to mitigate actual vulnerabilities and envable controls within AWS to be satisfied.Requirement Notes :MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE WITH SCI ELIGIBILITYDon't need extensive Terraform experience but definitely need someAWS is primary cloud. Additional Azure experience would be nice to haveRHEL is nice to have, Linux they really should have, Centos is similar to RHEL, UbuntoPosition Overview / Responsibilities :
The Senior Info Security Analyst will monitor the organization's networks for any security breaches and investigate / mitigate any issues.Maintain software, firewalls, and data encryption programs to ensure sensitive information is protected.Plan and lead major technology assignments, evaluate performance results, and recommend major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.Technical Expertise :
7 years of experience providing cyber security support for IT systemsCloud technologies such as AWS and Azure, particularly Infrastructure as a ServiceRed Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or Windows system administrationExperience with TerraformExperience / Qualifications :
MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE WITH SCI ELIGIBILITY IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITIONBachelor's or Master's degreeMinimum 7 years' experience working in Information SecurityDeveloped security standards and best practices and work as a technical expert across many projectsAbility to provide mentorship to junior engineersLooking for previous mentorship / leadership experienceFederal govt. experience supporting Army, DoD, or IntelActive TS clearance with SCI eligibilityIAT Level III or IAM Level III - Possible flex to get these during the first several months of workIdeally this candidate will also have an AWS certification
Salary : $140,000 - $175,000
