This opportunity resides with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) , a business group within HII's Mission Technologies division. Who We Are HII-Mission Technologies seeks an Engineering Project Manager to support our work in Virginia Beach, VA.
Selected candidate will be responsible for the readiness, installation, operations, maintenance, employment, and leadership / management of personnel in support of multiple sites.
Employee will direct and implement the development of operational plans and procedures to ensure the timely, safe, secure, and technically sound completion of 24 / 7 / 365 communications.
What We Are Looking For
- Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and site lead management.
- Responsible to government leaders for coordination and logistics support for the installation of equipment and engineering requirements.
- Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, Customer, Contractors and Sub-Contractors.
- Regularly briefs senior government civilian and contracted program management (GS-15 level) personnel on all assigned Department requirements, products, concerns, readiness, construction projects, future operations, planning, policies, and procedures in support of the government customer.
