CTI is seeking an experienced project manager with a warfare designator to provide leadership and strategic planning across several projects. The successful candidate will execute innovation and experimentation projects for U.S. Indo-Pacific Command J81.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Oversee project lifecycle from inception through completion, ensuring compliance with DoD standards and regulations.
- Review, assess, and develop project proposals, plans, and deliverables, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with U.S. Indo-Pacific Command requirements and objectives.
- Lead project meetings, working groups, technical information exchange meetings and other forums to provide subject matter expertise and guidance.
- Strategic Planning : Develop and implement project plans that align with military operational objectives, including tactical, operational, and strategic level warfighting scenarios.
- Team Management : Lead cross-functional teams, including engineers, analysts, and military personnel, to achieve project milestones.
- Risk Management : Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with defense projects, particularly those involving warfighting technologies or tactics.
- Stakeholder Communication : Maintain regular communication with DoD stakeholders, providing updates, managing expectations, and ensuring project visibility at all levels.
- Compliance & Security : Ensure project activities adhere to security protocols, ITAR, and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Explore and integrate new warfighting technologies and strategies to enhance project outcomes and military capabilities.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices relevant tactical systems ranging from tactical communications to ordnance to advanced reconnaissance technology.
- Apply warfighting experience to evaluate capability gaps and propose innovative solutions.
