Job Description We are looking for a mission-driven professional with an active Top-Secret Clearance to join our team as a seasoned Mid-Level Software Developer near Stafford / Fredericksburg, VA. This position can start as quickly as our government customer can process our request!

As a Seasoned Mid-Level Software Developer, You Will

Support a Department of Justice, FBI program, who designs, builds, and implements highly technical data collection systems.
Support a technology lab who dynamically implements technology to meet their outside customers uniquely defined evidence collection needs.

A week in the life of a seasoned Mid-Level Software Developer :

Serve as software engineering, with a primary focus on Web, multi-threaded, SQL, and web-socket development along with supporting software testing.

Provide expertise in Stylesheets, Java Script ES6, HTML and HTML5 standup.

Be proficient in the following programming languages : .NET, C#, JAVA Native Interface (JNI), JAVA, Database Connectivity (JDBC), Microsoft SQL Server, and or Structured Query Language (SQL).

Provide solutions to highly complex problems of a specialized product or design development, with a wide range of projects or programs.

Be responsible for requirements analysis, subsystem allocation, performance analysis, and system engineering leadership.

Prepare reports as needed relating to assignments, as required.

Maintain technical competence and state-of-the-art expertise in areas of technical

specialization.

Job Requirements

Active Top-Secret Clearance with the willingness to take an agency CI polygraph when requested.

High School Diploma (HS) and 13 years, Associates Degree (AS) and 10 years, Bachelors' Degree (BS) and 5 years or a Masters' Degree (MS) and 5 years of relevant experience.

Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate one-on-one or in large groups.

Experience as a Junior to Mid-Level Software Developer with expertise in software engineering, with a primary focus Client & Web Development.

Experience with Stylesheets, jQuery, Java Script ES6, HTML and or HTML5.

Experience with the following languages : .Net, C#, JAVA Native Interface (JNI), JAVA, Database Connectivity (JDBC), Microsoft SQL Server, and or Structured Query Language (SQL).

Worked and supported development environment with regression testing.

Ability to support up to 5% CONUS travel.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $150,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors to include relevant experience and permitted by law.
