About the Job: We're seeking a Sr. Staff Chief Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman Defense Systems.
This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program. You'll have the opportunity to work on revolutionary systems that impact people's lives around the world today, and for generations to come.
Key Responsibilities:
- Control the PLT technical baseline through change board control
- Coordinate between Supplier Management Teams (SMTs) and Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) teams
- Ensure the program adheres to sound engineering processes
- Maintain cognizance over technical activities within the AVE Segment
- Lead a technical team to successful product development and delivery
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in STEM with 14 years of experience; or Master's degree with 12 years of experience; or PhD with 10 years of experience
- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years
- Able to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
- 10 years of experience leading a technical team
- Technical breadth in Requirements Allocation, Configuration Management, Command & Control Design, Network Analysis, Subsystems Design, and end-to-end program lifecycle
Nice to Have:
- Master's Degree in STEM
- Expert knowledge of Vehicle Product development designs
- 5 years of experience with technical / vehicle engineering development leadership for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) or related missile-based activities
