Tyto Athene is seeking an experienced Telecommunications Technician to support our customer in West Mifflin, PA
Responsibilities :
- Capable of performing PBX and cabling troubleshooting.
- Day-to-day moves, adds and changes of telephones.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Experienced in assessing user needs, translating those needs to identify the nature of the trouble and applying skills to rectify the issue.
- Demonstrates general knowledge and proficiency with computing and / or telecommunications technologies.
- Install, maintain, and support voice and data end points, circuits, and telecommunications' systems. Responsible for performing telephone activities in telecommunication distribution rooms and user areas.
- Install operating station equipment (telephones, etc.) at the end user's location.
- Install distribution frame patches and disconnects in telecommunication distribution rooms.
- Test and verify telephone cable connections. Repair or replace faulty cables and connectors.
