Description The Multi-Domain Solutions Division at Leidos currently has an opening for an Integration and Test Engineer to work in our Alexandria, VA office.
Primary Responsibilities
- The Test Engineering team will be responsible for enterprise level test requirements development, planning, system hardware-software-network integration, verification, validation and fielding support for network and network systems. This includes defining and specifying the implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of products. This team will work with vendors to evaluate systems, align test requirements, identify test methods for verification and validation of network systems.
High level tasking for this team will include the following :
Interface with vendors and facilitate integration into a larger system-of-systems modelHelp identify test methodology to verify and validate systems efficientlyDesign reviews of solutions and review of vendor validation methodsIdentifying and track risks for integration and validationHelp facilitate working groups and information exchange in support of program objectivesInformal and formal technical interchanges, and formal reviews for integration and test artifacts and milestonesCollaborate with software and hardware subject matter experts to ensure testing is producing expected resultsSupport the development and maintenance of system integration plans and system test plansWorking with systems engineering to support interface developmentDiagnose problems encountered during application integration among products and address fixes / enhancements according to prescribed program processesDocument lessons learned and develop and maintain a robust test discipline for the programLearn and uphold Leidos values, beliefs and expectations and highest standards of ethical and respectful behaviorBasic Qualifications
Must possess a minimum of a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS / SCI clearanceBachelors degree with 4 - 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 - 6 years of prior relevant experienceDemonstrable knowledge of test engineering concepts and applying these concepts to Department of Defense programsExperience in automated testing conceptsExperience developing test plans and specifications and executing tests.Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with customer representatives, domain experts, and other systems engineers in the development of complex DoD systems.Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of system integration activities.Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experienceExperience in Integration, test, verification, and validationAbility to work with a distributed teamDemonstrated experience with Agile program execution and using agile tools (e.g. Jira and Confluence)Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with Model Based TestingPrior experience working on ABMS or JADC2 initiativesPrior experience designing and deployment networksPrior experience with SAFe Agile implementationPrior experience support Department of the Air Force programsPrevious experience working on complex multi-domain systemsExperience with large weapons systems and command and control platforms across the DoD portfolioExperience with design and validation of Cloud and Edge Computing and NetworkOriginal Posting Date 2024-10-23

Pay Range Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
