Amentum is seeking a Radio Technician located in the Williamsburg area of Virginia. The Radio Technician ensures that equipment on site is operational and available.
Job Requirements :
- Maintain Base two-way radios.
- Monitor performance of Base radio equipment to ensure operational status at 100 percent availability.
- Coordinate the return and repair of defective two-way radios.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the procurement of new radio hardware. Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all Base radio assets
- Maintain, repair, move, relocate, and install new and existing communication equipment.
- Perform routine and emergency repairs to support the USG's mission in a timely manner.
- Be flexible and available to provide system or equipment repairs at any given hour or day.
- Program new radios, ensuring correct programs are used for a diverse radio user population.
- Issue and recover radios to support customer requirements.
- Perform configuration and management of virtual networks, servers and virtual workstations.
- Implement administration, troubleshooting, patching, and support of virtual infrastructure.
- Coordinate with the USG for all planned system outages.
