About the job: Windows Systems Administrator

The selected candidate will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems software and related infrastructure. This individual participates in the entire lifecycle process, from technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure, through to application/product delivery. This individual ensures that system, operating systems and related procedures adhere to organizational policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running Windows operating systems.
• Maintain the integrity and security of servers and systems.
• Use PowerShell to automate tasks, deploy applications and other infrastructure related tasks.
• Develop and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
• Evaluate vendor products.
• Develop and oversee implementation of testing strategies and documentation of results.
• Provide guidance and leadership to less-experienced staff members.
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
• Maintain systems documentation.
