Controller

A controller is a financial expert who manages a company's accounting operations and monitors its financial health. They are responsible for many tasks, including:

• Financial reporting: Preparing periodic financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and analyses of future expenses or earnings
• Accounting: Overseeing the accounting, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable departments
• Budgeting: Managing the annual budget and forecasts, and communicating significant budget differences to management
• Financial analysis: Assessing capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards, and tax compliance issues
• Auditing: Coordinating activities of internal and external auditors, and providing transactional records and accounting information to them
• Performance metrics: Developing and monitoring financial performance metrics

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 7 - 10 years of related experience
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred
• Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
