What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Engineer position at Top Stack?
We are looking for a Process Engineer for one of our clients. This is a new position that reports to the Director of Manufacturing. This is an on site position with 90% of your time being spent at two locations in Long Island, NY.
Job Description:
- Analyze machine performance data to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize machine utilization and improve run rates.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure equipment is operating at peak performance and perform troubleshooting as needed.
- Conduct regular reviews of machine settings and parameters to maintain optimal operation.
- Evaluate and refine manufacturing processes to enhance overall productivity.
- Monitor production metrics, including output rates, downtime, and yield, and implement improvements based on data insights.
- Identify and execute opportunities to enhance machine reliability through equipment upgrades or modifications.
- .Work cross-functionally with production, quality, and maintenance teams to align on operational goals.
- Ensure all processes and machine operations meet regulatory and safety standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in process engineering focusing on equipment performance.
Salary : $95,000 - $155,000
