Key Responsibilities :
Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns for individuals, corporations, and other entities.
Assist in the preparation of tax provisions and related financial reporting.
Conduct research on tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements to support accurate filings.
Analyze financial data to ensure proper tax treatment and identify potential savings opportunities.
Support audits and tax inquiries by gathering and organizing relevant documentation.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and industry changes to ensure compliance.
Assist with tax planning strategies to optimize tax efficiency and minimize liabilities.
Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for tax reporting.
Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to their implementation.
Ensure all records and filings are organized and accessible for future reference.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
0-2 years of experience in tax preparation, accounting, or a related role (internship experience is a plus).
Strong understanding of tax principles, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
CPA or working toward CPA certification is a plus.
