Mass tort experience required 3 years
Responsibilities :
Oversee lifecycle of mass tort cases;
Promote a positive team culture by mentoring and encouraging any junior attorneys
and support staff and fostering a sense of ownership and accountability;
Collaborate with leadership to establish and / or implement case strategies or identify
processes in need of enhancement; and
Conduct legal research to support case or practice area development.
Qualifications :
3 years of litigation experience from a medium to large size firm in the field
of plaintiffs mass torts (required);
Experience managing a staff of paralegals and / or legal assistants (required);
Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills;
Detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task;
Learns quickly and functions in a fast-paced environment;
Creative problem-solver, takes the initiative, and can accomplish tasks with minimal
supervision;
A team player with a great attitude;
Proficient with a variety of computer applications and internet programs : Microsoft
Word, Excel, Outlook, LexisXpress File & Serve, LexisAdvance or Lexis.com
