We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Personal Injury Paralegal PT or FT to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will support attorneys in managing personal injury cases from initial intake through settlement or trial. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities :
- Case Management : Organize and maintain case files, including medical records, correspondence, and legal documents.
- Client Interaction : Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring regular updates and addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
- Legal Research : Conduct research related to personal injury cases, including statutes, case law, and relevant precedents.
- Drafting Documents : Prepare legal documents such as demand letters, pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
- Investigation Support : Assist in gathering and reviewing evidence, including medical reports, accident reports, witness statements, and photographs.
- Court Filings : File legal documents with courts, ensuring compliance with deadlines and procedural rules.
- Trial Preparation : Support attorneys in preparing for depositions, mediations, and trials by organizing exhibits, witness lists, and case summaries.
- Settlement Assistance : Coordinate and draft settlement documentation, including settlement statements and lien resolutions.
