JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with Environmental leadership (air, water, and waste treatment) in a Manufacturing/Industrial site
- Need to have a strong understanding of CA State regulations regarding environmental compliance
- comfortable entering data into the California EPA database and other regulatory organizations
- Hybrid work model
- valid driver's license
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to):
- Implementation of company policies related to the environment (air, stormwater, groundwater, hazardous or solid waste)
- "hands-on" approach to sampling, monitoring, observing, reporting, and recording data
- knowledgeable of federal, state, and local law, permits, and capable of preparing permits
- ability to investigate, plan, design, install, and operate pollution control equipment
- supervisory experience
- ability to communicate and train others
- Maintains emergency response plans, and the operation and maintenance plans
- Manages environmental proposals, vendor contracts, cost estimates, and budgets.
