Qualifications:
- supervisory experience with a hands-on leadership style
- mechanically inclined, including the ability to inspect the equipment
- familiar with industrial heavy equipment, including maintenance (conveyors, sorting equipment, sizing equipment, etc)
- experience in the processing of materials (pulp/paper/waste management/mining)
- comfortable in a non-climate controlled indoor/outdoor dirty environment
- union leadership experience is preferred
- safety-focused
- strong leadership skills in a fast-paced environment
- ability to identify, prioritize, and delegate responsibilities
- knowledgeable about preventative maintenance and repairs of heavy equipment, pumps, etc.
- proficient at loading/unloading materials efficiently and cost-effectively
- skilled at inventory management
- comfortable learning and implementing new technologies in a manufacturing setting
- effective communicator
- computer savvy
Salary : $130,000 - $160,000
