This role requires expertise in STEM, education, and management. The Director will work with the VP of Education and Community Engagement to enhance educational offerings and guest engagement for all ages.Key Responsibilities : Develop and implement STEM programs and curricula aligned with museum goals and standards.Design interactive workshops and activities for various age groups.Collaborate with schools to tailor programs and meet educational standards.Organize STEM events like science fairs and robotics competitions.Integrate technology (e.g., VR, 3D printing) into learning.Create outreach programs for underserved communities.Continuously assess and improve programs.Community and Partnerships : Work with schools, universities, and community groups to enhance STEM outreach.Promote programs through marketing and increase community involvement.Build partnerships for mentorship, internships, and funding.Experience Management : Ensure a welcoming, engaging visitor experience and address feedback.Collaborate with exhibits teams to ensure educational, accessible displays.Operational Support : Assist with budget management and resource allocation.Support strategic planning initiatives.Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in education, STEM, or related field (Master’s preferred).5 years in educational leadership, ideally in a museum or similar setting.Strong knowledge of STEM education best practices.Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.Passion for advancing STEM education.Excellent Benefits and Culture!Apply Now to be considered!
