Our client, a leading engineering firm specializing in earth science and forensic sectors, is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer to lead and expand their practice group in Englewood.
Role Responsibilities:
- Utilize expertise in hydrology and water resources to assess and improve land and water systems.
- Conduct root cause analyses and develop solutions in stormwater management, flood analysis, and drainage design.
- Collaborate with team members on project management from development through litigation support, including potential expert witness testimony.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring project commitments are met.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master’s or PhD preferred).
- 10 years of experience in water resources engineering.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification required; Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) to be obtained within 3 months.
- Proficient in hydraulic software (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, HydroCAD).
