Job Title : Environment & Energy Associate Location : Buffalo, Rochester, Saratoga Springs, or Albany Our client seeks an experienced associate attorney to join their dynamic and growing Environment & Energy practice.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of environmental and energy-related matters, contributing to a highly regarded team recognized for its expertise in regulatory compliance, renewable project development, and environmental litigation.
Experience Required : 3 to 6 years representing clients in environmental and / or energy matters. Responsibilities : Represent clients in environmental and energy matters, including appearances before administrative bodies.
Conduct litigation in related fields, including managing depositions, motion practice, court appearances, and electronic discovery.
Preferred Qualifications : Experience with : Environmental regulatory compliance and remedial project management. Complex environmental litigation and administrative practice.
Drafting and negotiating environmental contractual provisions. Renewable energy project siting, permitting, acquisition, financing, and development.
Requirements : Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Strong academic credentials. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits : Salary Range : $128,000 to $158,000 (based on experience, skills, and other relevant factors).
