Job Overview
Our client is seeking a Commission & Field Service Specialist with expertise in industrial equipment installation, commissioning, and startup. This role is hands-on and involves overseeing the deployment and operation of SCR projects, primarily for copper and aluminum rod mills. The specialist will work closely with various teams to ensure successful installations and ongoing process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Supervise customer installation of SCR systems independently
- Install, configure, commission, and troubleshoot subsystems such as pumps, motors, and valves
- Identify and resolve complex process and equipment issues while recommending improvements
- Develop and manage maintenance programs and training for SCR equipment
- Document field service activities, process audits, and troubleshooting efforts
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or at least 15 years of direct experience in industrial equipment installation and maintenance management
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial equipment installation and maintenance, with 10 or more years preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Proficiency in or willingness to learn AutoCAD
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
