Our leading hospital system client is seeking an experienced Imaging & Diagnostic Services Director to oversee the comprehensive management and strategic direction of Imaging Services, including CT, Radiology, Ultrasound, MRI, and Nuclear Medicine. This pivotal role ensures the delivery of exceptional patient care, operational excellence, and quality assurance within the Imaging Services department.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Imaging Services department, collaborating with the Medical Director of Imaging to ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
Direct oversight of daily departmental activities, ensuring efficient operations, staff development, and successful execution of strategic initiatives.
Develop and manage department budgets, optimizing resource utilization to meet financial and operational objectives.
Lead quality and safety initiatives to maintain a safe environment, meeting healthcare standards and regulations.
Drive innovation and growth strategies to enhance service delivery and patient care.
Required Qualifications:
Certification: CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (State Licensure) OR RDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
Certifications: BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA).
Experience: Minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in Imaging Services, with a focus on management.
Proven experience in leading and managing imaging services in a healthcare setting.
Strong background in strategic planning, budget management, and staff leadership.
Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to ensuring safety and quality in healthcare delivery.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in driving change and implementing innovative practices to enhance imaging services and patient outcomes.
Capacity to manage and inspire multidisciplinary teams toward achieving high-level organizational goals.
