About the Job
Our client is seeking a mid-level associate with 3-6 years of experience to join their growing, dynamic National Intellectual Property group as an IP Litigation attorney. Preference will be given to candidates interested in the Milwaukee office. The ideal candidate will have experience representing clients in all stages of patent, trademark, and other intellectual property litigation, including:
Responsibilities:
- Conducting pre-filing investigations and due diligence
- Developing case strategies
- Managing complex discovery processes and negotiations
- Taking and defending depositions
- Drafting pleadings, motions, and pre-trial briefings
- Arguing evidentiary motions, claim construction, and dispositive motions
- Preparing and submitting appeal briefs
The candidate must have a strong academic record along with the skills, enthusiasm, and commitment to pursue a partnership track at the firm.
