Our client, a highly respected mid-sized law firm, is seeking a motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Irvine, California office. This is a unique opportunity for a driven litigator to contribute to sophisticated employment and business litigation matters, including wage and hour class actions, in a collegial and collaborative work environment.
This role is ideal for candidates with 2–5 years of litigation experience, particularly in employment or civil litigation defense. Hands-on opportunities for court appearances, motion practice, depositions, and trial support are a key part of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle discovery, law and motion work, pleadings, and legal research
- Attend court hearings, depositions, and manage case deadlines
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties
- Support trial preparation and strategy development
- Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and participate in team-based litigation efforts

Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
- 2–5 years of relevant civil litigation experience (defense side preferred)
- Active member of the California State Bar
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- Demonstrated interest in employment litigation
- Local to Orange County preferred
- Big law experience is a plus
- Must have a stable work history; jumpy resumes will not be considered
Salary & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $165,000 – $195,000
- Performance-Based Bonus
