Our client, a prestigious Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a Manager, Network Engineering to lead the strategic direction, design, and global operations of its enterprise network infrastructure. The successful candidate will oversee the management and optimization of complex networking systems, including global WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, and advanced routing protocols (BGP, OSPF). In addition, they will be responsible for designing and maintaining secure, high-performance connectivity solutions within Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Global Network Leadership: Oversee the strategic design, deployment, and support of the firm’s global WAN and SD-WAN environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and resiliency across all offices.
- Cloud Integration: Architect and manage secure, high-performance network connectivity between on-premise systems and public cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS).
- Advanced Routing & Traffic Management: Implement and maintain complex routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and Quality of Service (QoS) policies to support critical business applications and optimize bandwidth usage.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and manage a geographically distributed team of network engineers. Assign resources effectively to meet project demands and business goals.
- Operational Excellence: Develop and enforce best practices for uptime, disaster recovery, change control, and network security. Establish network monitoring and incident response protocols.
- Project & Vendor Management: Serve as project lead for large-scale network initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to ensure alignment with firmwide IT strategy.
- Strategic Roadmapping: Drive continuous improvement by evaluating emerging technologies, assessing risks and opportunities, and aligning network infrastructure with long-term business objectives.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (required)
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering
- Minimum of 4 years in a network management or leadership role
- Expertise in:
- Global WAN and SD-WAN design and operations
- Advanced routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
- Cloud networking in Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon AWS
- Wireless infrastructure and performance tuning
- QoS and traffic prioritization techniques
- Strong project management, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
- Industry certifications preferred: CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent]
Salary & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $130,000 – $190,000 (dependent on experience)
