Our client is seeking a certified Sonographer to join their Ultrasound Team at a leading academic medical center. If you are a skilled imaging professional with ARDMS certification and experience in diagnostic ultrasound, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in a world-class healthcare environment.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Radiologic Technology, or Allied Health program
- ARDMS certification with an ABD or OB/GYN credential
- Minimum 2 years of paid scanning experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center
- Familiarity with Epic EMR
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasounds and other imaging procedures using high-frequency sound waves
- Customize examinations for each patient based on pathology and imaging challenges
- Operate ultrasound equipment with technical precision to obtain clear, diagnostic images
- Collaborate with physicians and radiology teams to ensure accurate patient assessments
- Maintain records and adhere to safety and compliance standards
