Role Responsibilities:
Estate Planning: Plan and draft sophisticated estate planning documents for clients with taxable estates, including GST-exempt trusts, GRATs, SLATs, IDGTs, and other complex instruments.
Client Management: Manage and develop client relationships with a high level of professionalism and care.
Administration: Handle post-mortem estate administration matters.
Tax Filings: Prepare and/or review estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax returns (Forms 706, 709, and 1041).
Key Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in trusts and estates law, with experience in planning for high-net-worth clients and multi-generational wealth transfers.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in complex estate planning strategies, post-mortem administration, and tax return preparation/review.
Client-Focused: Proven track record of direct client management and service.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Licensure: Active membership in the Florida Bar.
