Top Workforce Solutions is seeking an onsite Corporate Controller based in Shakopee, MN. This key role requires a skilled financial professional responsible for overseeing the company's accounting practices, financial reporting, and internal controls. The Corporate Controller will manage financial statements, ensure compliance with regulations, and lead budgeting and forecasting activities.
Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with executive leaders to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making. Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team to guide financial strategy and direction.
· Oversee all finance and accounting operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements to support business operations.
· Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the finance department.
· Represent financial expertise to operational leaders, translating complex financial concepts into actionable insights. Provide guidance on the financial implications of business decisions to drive informed decision-making.
· Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations. Streamline workflows and optimize financial processes to support organizational goals.
· Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Manage financial risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies, while adhering to internal control requirements as directed by the parent company.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA is a plus.
· 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in finance roles, with proven experience as a Corporate Controller or a similar role in a corporate environment.
· Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control principles.
· Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively partner with executive leaders and operational teams.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex financial scenarios and provide actionable recommendations.
· Proficiency in financial software and systems; experience with SAP is highly desirable.
