Who We Are Looking For:
A motivated Taproom Shift Supervisor (TSS) for our Downtown Ventura location. This fast-growing team values hard work and a vibrant company culture. The primary responsibilities of the TSS will be to assist with managing the taproom's daily activities and employees.
This position assists the Regional Taproom Manager (RTM) with overseeing Beertenders and checking in with customers and employees to ensure customer service and quality standards are met. This employee reports to the RTM and is the supervisor on duty when the RTM is not on site. This employee can delegate tasks, may be the point person for the execution of taproom events, and must be a self-starter. When time permits, this position circulates the taproom to engage with customers and complete any tasks delegated to them by RTM.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Delegate side-work to employees when it’s slower to keep taprooms clean and organized
- Responsible for submitting twice-weekly inventory to maintain an accurate delivery schedule
- Check-in with RTM for additional duties
- Complete incident reports for all taproom incidents – email to RTM and HR to file.
- Ability to perform tasks that may not be reflected above with a positive attitude
Tasks:
- Proficient in IT troubleshooting as it pertains to TTBC FOH functionality
- Know how to troubleshoot POS, WiFi, etc.
- iPad updating and general upkeep
- Know how to troubleshoot POS, WiFi, etc.
- Draft/Coldbox Maintenance
- Keep Coldbox clean and organized
- Knowledge of basic troubleshooting for draft systems, glass rinsers, crowler machine
- Manage Merchandise
- Restock inventory weekly and maintain accurate inventory on Revel
- Submit inventory twice weekly based on your taproom’s unique schedule
Expectations:
- Handle all situations in the taproom in a positive and direct manner
- Report to RTM if any situations or incidents arise that are out of the ordinary
- Display leadership skills and make sure the taproom is running efficiently
- Keep customer service standards high and maintain that staff is staying busy during downtimes
- Weekly duties done in an accurate and timely manner
Schedule:
- Monthly check-ins with RTM
- Mandatory attendance at quarterly meetings- held at HQ with RTM
- The minimum hour requirement is 30 hours/week, with no overtime without approval by RTM prior
- Must be flexible to pick up shifts at other locations when needed
Pay and Benefits:
This is a full-time position at $18-$19/hr tips (during bartending shifts). All credit card tips are paid out on each paycheck bi-weekly as a separate line item. Staff may access tip pool info via the Revel Report accessible to RTM. In-house tip records are kept and accessible at any point via GoogleSheets and all cash tips are disbursed at the end of the night.
