Retail Merchandiser

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Retail Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products are well-presented and available to customers, enhancing their shopping experience. This role involves collaborating with store management and staff to execute merchandising strategies that drive sales and maintain brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Implement visual merchandising strategies to enhance product displays and improve customer engagement.
• Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for product placement.
• Manage inventory levels, ensuring that products are stocked appropriately and displayed according to company guidelines.
• Collaborate with sales teams to develop training programs that enhance staff knowledge of products and merchandising techniques.
• Utilize retail math skills to analyze sales data and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly.
• Assist in remodeling efforts by providing input on layout changes that optimize product visibility.
• Maintain accurate administrative records related to inventory, pricing, and promotional activities.
• Operate cash registers when necessary, ensuring accurate transactions and customer service.

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail merchandising or a related field is preferred.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts for analyzing sales performance.
• Excellent communication skills for training development and collaboration with team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of cash register operations is a plus.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to stigmatize potential issues before they arise.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
