Job Title : CDL- A Driver (Temp)
Location : Waterbury, Connecticut (Various Locations)
Hourly Rate : $36-40 per hour
We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Driver for a temporary 6-8 week assignment to join our team and support the distribution of hardwood floor materials across multiple locations in Connecticut. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to restock our store and warehouse locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and handling unloading duties from the tractor trailer. Duties include unloading materials, maintaining inventory, and performing general warehouse tasks. Piggyback forklift experience is required. Candidates should have a valid CDL license, relevant driving experience, and strong organizational skills, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
- Safely transport pallets of wood to various locations
- Load and unload materials using a piggyback forklift (required)
- Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining accurate logs and documentation
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
