Topcoats Apprentice Program may be the route for you!
We provide our Apprentices with the tools and education necessary to help you achieve your professional goals. You will learn and work in a salon environment, with a flexible schedule, while building your clientele, and getting paid to do it. As an Apprentice at Topcoat Nail Bar, you will receive hands-on individualized instruction, while working side-by-side with licensed Nail Technicians every step of the way. For the most interactive and real-world learning environment, Topcoat is the way to go!
We focus our curriculum on empowering individuals on a professional and personal level. Our goal is to provide our artists with the knowledge and resources to be successful in the industry. We ensure your success with 1 on 1 training that is focused on enhancing your skills and empowering you to be successful. We believe in providing our artists an environment that promotes growth in technique and business with class topics such as; social media marketing, customer retention, business coaching, as well as all the latest in acrylic & gel enhancement products, reflexology, massage techniques, and of course nail art. Requirements
- Must be eager to learn and willing to receive feedback and grow a clientele
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be 14 years or older. Minors will be required to obtain parent or guardian permission
- Please note the required duration of the program is 375 hours, While we do offer flexible schedules, vacations & personal time off may be limited and will require authorization prior to start date
- All apprentices are required to follow all salon policies and protocols
- To be enrolled into the program and added to the waitlist, the apprentice is required to have paid the Enrollment Fee in full.
- Payment plans are available. The minimum payment requirement is scheduled weekly based on hours worked.
- No prior knowledge or experience is required as we provide full instruction on the aspects of the beauty industry and skills necessary to becoming a Licensed Nail Technician. The curriculum also includes full coverage of the practical and theory state board exams.
- All supplies necessary for the completion of the program curriculum will be provided to you. However you may be required to provide supplies to assemble your kit for the practical examination.
