What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Topcon?
Job Duties
1. Follow established warehouse work instructions and procedures.
2. Process international and domestic shipments, to include documentation and logistics coordination.
3. Manage inventory control activities, to include cycle counting and inventory auditing.
4. Perform material replenishment operations in a timely and efficient manner.5. Accurately process inbound shipments, ensuring accuracy of receipt.
6. Operate powered industrial trucks and equipment.
7. Participate in special projects or tasks as needed.
8. Maintains appropriate 5S conditions, keeping warehouse aisles and locations clean and organized.
9. May assist in training new employees or new processes with existing staff.10. Consults with Supervisor on questionable cases involving material, quality, or procedure matters.
11. Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Job Requirements
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Familiarity with SAP, MS Suite, and Workday preferred.
Prior warehouse experience and powered industrial lift truck certification preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
Ability to follow written & verbal instructions in English.
High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
Ability to work effectively with others, and maintain a positive attitude.
Self-starter, motivated, engaged with or without supervision.
Good communication skills, work ethic, and attendance.
