IT Configuration Management Specialist
Tope is seeking a IT Configuration Management Specialist to support the AF Strategic Program Information Services team in support of the Sentinel Information Services (IS) team. The selected candidate will join our Information Services team and have an important role in supporting our mission of Strategic Deterrence through continual improvement and innovation. The position will have the following duties and responsibilities :
- Provide configuration management and project management support for development and operations of multiple enterprise cloud networks and computing centers
- Provide or assist with configuration management of hardware, software, system, and license management; product lifecycle management; change management; project management tasks; and the related processes.
- Interface with various department staff and the customer in support of these activities
- Maintain configuration management baseline of IT cloud and on-premises environments
- Implement and maintain change management process
- Gather and document requirements and metrics
- Develop and improve processes
- Establish and maintain documentation policies and procedures
- Oversee software license management
- Track and report project task status updates
- Drive CM related project initiatives
- Collaborate with internal and external teams
Position requires U.S. Citizenship, fully adjudicated DoD Secret or Top-Secret Security Clearance and at least 5 years’ experience with a MS degree; 7 years’ experience with a BS degree; or 10 years’ experience with a HS diploma with :
