What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hardware Associate - TFCD position at TOPEKA FOUNDRY & IRON WORKS?
- Monitor hardware dashboard in App Services and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Receive in and inspect hardware product shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Organize and store incoming hardware in designated areas.
- Maintain accurate Job Hardware inventories utilizing company supplied Inventory Software.
- Monitor emails and collaborate with other departments to ensure timely processing of incoming goods.
- Learn hardware specifics to assist the receipt of Specialty Hardware.
- Work with QC on job specific kitting of hardware and hardware QC tasks.
- Computer skills: Including Microsoft Office Suite and Web based Inventory and Production Scheduling applications.
- Must be able to operate forklift.
- Must be able to lift 60lbs frequently and work in fast paced warehouse setting.
- Must be conscientious of safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Strong initiative and the ability to work independently with general supervision.
- Commercial Door and Hardware application knowledge a plus.
- Analytic/Inventory Control Mindset a plus.
- Demonstrated communication skills written/email and verbal.
- Demonstrated organizational/Time Management and detail-oriented skills.
- Must have a positive attitude and work well with others.
- Must be a team player.
