What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contract Sub-Investigator position at Topography Health?
OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated Sub-Investigator to support an ongoing obesity and Type 2 diabetes (T2D) clinical trial in partnership with a leading sponsor. In this role, you will work closely with the Principal Investigator to ensure the study is conducted in compliance with the protocol, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and relevant regulatory requirements. Ideal candidates include physicians (MD, DO) or Advanced Practice Providers (PA, NP) with experience in endocrinology and a passion for advancing metabolic disease treatments; however, previous clinical research or sub-investigator experience is welcome but not required. Successful applicants will demonstrate expertise in diabetes management and education, along with a strong commitment to patient safety, regulatory adherence, and effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary research environment.

Minimum Qualifications
Medical Degree (MD, DO) or Advanced Practice Provider credentials (PA, NP) in the state of New Mexico
2 years of experience in endocrinology and metabolic diseases
2 years of experience in diabetes management and patient education
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Diabetes Educator
Prior experience in clinical research or as a sub-investigator is preferred but not required
