IT Support Specialist
Job Description
This position will be a member of the IT Helpdesk Team.
Responsibilities are as follows, but not limited to:
- Configuration, installation and repair of computers and other electronic office equipment.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on user’s computers and devices.
- Troubleshoot Intermec and Zebra barcode label printers and handheld scanners.
- Troubleshoot networking issues related to switching, data cabling and wireless.
- Skill to Install and terminate horizontal and backbone network cabling per TIA/EIA-568 structured cabling standards.
- Educate users on procedures for resolving or preventing technical problems.
- General administration of Windows Servers including Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Develop and implement technical procedures to quickly address user’s problems and minimize downtime.
- Develop relationships with third-party vendors managing software and maintenance agreements and licensing.
- Quote network cabling installations and maintain network diagrams.
- Advanced EDI software technical support.
- Administration of Azure AD and Office 365.
- Help maintain cyber security standards and policies.
Specialized Skills will be Taught on the Job:
Radley iCARaS EDI system, VMware vSphere 7.0 .
- Candidate must have excellent communications skills; both written and verbal.
- Must be able to Work in a Team Environment as well as on their own.
- Time Management Skills are Essential with the Ability to meet deadlines
