Topre America Corporation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Team Lead to coordinate daily activities within our production department. This role supports the Production Supervisor by helping manage workflow, training team members, and ensuring the team is working efficiently and safely to meet performance goals
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily operations and labor resources within the production area.
- Assist the Production Supervisor with departmental support and leadership.
- Prepare and adjust work schedules in response to labor needs.
- Train and mentor both new and existing team members.
- Provide performance feedback and assist in addressing concerns and resolving issues.
- Promote a performance-driven environment with clear goals.
- Recommend and help implement process improvements.
- Verify accuracy and compliance of production records and procedures.
- Maintain adherence to company and customer policies, including safety protocols.
- Review and correct production and quality documentation.
- Assign tasks and inspect work for accuracy, neatness, and compliance.
- Standardize and document efficient operating procedures.
- Prepare and deliver reports to leadership.
- Assist with maintaining 5S standards in the manufacturing area.
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience
- At least 1 year of leadership experience required
- Experience with weld assemblies preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Essential Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, procedures, and operational documents
- Strong written communication skills for reports and documentation
- Ability to follow and give instructions in various formats (oral, written, diagrams)
- Problem-solving mindset with strong organizational skills
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing and walking
- Use of hands and arms for tasks involving manual dexterity
- Stooping, kneeling, and crouching as needed
- Occasional sitting, climbing, and balancing
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 lbs
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts
