Primary Duties:
- Coordinate daily activities within the production department.
- Support Production Supervisor
- Prepare work schedules; react quickly and effectively regarding unexpected labor needs.
- Train existing and new team members
- Offer input to Supervisor when appraising performance, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Ensure team understands and works towards performance goals.
- Recommend process improvements within the department.
- Review records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures.
- Ensure compliance to all company and customer policies and procedures (including safety)
- Review and correct errors in daily production and quality records.
- Assign duties and examine work for exactness, neatness and conformance to policy.
- Study and standardize procedures for improved efficiency of the team.
- Prepare reports for leadership.
- Assist in maintaining the 5S of the manufacturing area.
- Other duties as required and assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years manufacturing experience
- One (1) year of Leadership required.
- Experience in weld assemblies preferred.
- PC literate with experience in MS Outlook, Word and Excel
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to comprehend and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
