Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding techniques and processes, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Responsibilities
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion and quality assurance.
- Conduct inspections using vision inspection systems to verify weld quality.
- Program and operate robotic welding systems, including Fanuc robots.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and reduce waste.
- Troubleshoot issues related to distributed control systems and logic controllers as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Welder or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics; familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Experience with robot programming, particularly Fanuc systems, is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
