Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, mark, and package product to meet customer needs and maintain high-quality standards.
- Maintain shelves and cases by proper stocking, cleaning, straightening, and watering to ensure a visually appealing and well-maintained department.
- Rotate products to ensure the freshest produce is available to customers and prevent spoilage.
- Fulfill customer orders for items such as fruit or vegetable platters, baskets, etc.
- Maintain a clean and organized department, adhering to all health and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail, with the ability to accurately handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system.
