Responsibilities
- Oversee strategic planning and execution to improve profitability, productivity, and efficiency across the location’s operations.
- Manage the location’s manufacturing and/or distribution operations while understanding and leveraging critical success factors and core competencies.
- Support continuous improvement in production through operating procedures, best practice implementation, and ongoing training. Engage in active dialogue with operations personnel to drive performance improvements.
- Develop and utilize key performance metrics to measure success in quality, safety, cost management, capacity management, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with business leadership to integrate new technologies and processes, ensuring cost-effective and successful implementation. Foster innovation to promote continuous improvement.
- Maintain profit margins in line with established objectives and establish internal control systems to ensure accountability.
- Drive manufacturing and/or distribution growth for the location, aligning with overall company objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and ethical standards governing company operations.
- Regularly interact with Senior Leadership and department heads to align operational priorities with company strategy.
- Identify and introduce process improvement measures, presenting recommendations to the VP for consideration.
- Provide leadership to direct reports, including performance management, coaching, and hiring of employees within the location.
- Keep supervisors focused on key goals, including Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Operator Development.
- Ensure the effective use of D365 or any MRP system by training and guiding the team in its proper utilization.
- Develop and mentor new supervisors to build a strong leadership pipeline within the plant.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Business Management preferred.
- 5-8 years of Operations Management experience, ideally in manufacturing and/or distribution.
- Proven experience managing direct reports, including performance management and talent development.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence internal stakeholders, customers, and senior leaders.
- Highly motivated, driven, and persistent, with confidence in achieving operational targets.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to succeed in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to initiate and support change initiatives that drive continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines effectively.
