What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electronic Assembler position at TOPS Staffing?
In this position you will be tasked with mainly performing bench assembly work of various sensors, probes, wire, and electronic based testing units. Most of this work can be performed while sitting at a work bench. We are seeking individuals with previous experience performing small parts electronic assembly and soldering of wires and circuits.
Job Details:
Daylight shift position
Hours- 8:30am to 4:30pm
Work schedule: Monday to Friday – Occasional OT on Saturday
Pay Rate: $18 per hour based on experience level
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform electronic assembly work
- Soldering of wires, circuits, etc.
- Troubleshooting, repair and diagnostic testing
- Work from blueprints, schematics or assembly drawings
- Use of oscilloscopes and multimeters
- Working mainly with small electronics parts and assemblies such as resistors, capacitors, and integrated circuits.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 years of soldering experience (IPC cert would be preferred but not required)
- 1 years of electronic testing and troubleshooting experience
- Experience doing small part intricate assembly work
Physical Requirements:
- Good eyesight – needed for working with smaller parts and soldering
- Good communication skills, ability to work as a team or independently
