Machine Operator/ Machine Tender - Night shift

TOPS has partnered with a local manufacturing company who is currently looking to hire several assemblers/ machine tenders to add to its growing production team. Will consider both entry level and experienced production candidates.

Great opportunity to join a growing company and work in a state of the art automated production facility. These role will involve helping to manufacture life saving medical products, which are manufactured inside a clean room environment. In these roles the production equipment is doing the bulk of the assembly and manufacturing work and your job is to tend to the equipment and production lines. One of the main responsibilities of this position are to monitor hopper levels on the production machines and add parts or material to these hoppers to ensure the machine and production line can continue to operate. Secondary duties will involve packaging of finished product, getting items boxed up and ready to be sent to the warehouse before being shipped.

Job Details:
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: 10:30am to 7am
Pay Rate: $18.25 per hour

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Load and unload hoppers of plastic molding production machines in a clean room environment.
• Basic assembly of plastic products, no prior experience is required
• Packaging of finished products
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Must be a team player, ability to work and communicate with coworkers effectively
• Willingness to learn, we provide on the job training, teach you the skills needed to grow within the company and build a successful career

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Prior manufacturing experience is a plus but not required to qualify for this opportunity
• Will consider both entry level and experienced candidates alike.
• Stable work history, as this is a contract to hire position. We are looking for career minded candidates. Plenty of room to grow with this company

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
• Clean room position. Involves wearing clean room PPE, hair net, clean room suit, beard net, and shoe covers
• Lifting requirement is very minimal but repetitive
