TOPS Staffing is currently looking to hire several Production line Setup technicians for a well established manufacturing client located in Oakmont, Pa.
These positions are not entry level roles, we are searching for candidates who have prior production machine/line operation and set up experience.
If you have any experience working with plastic it would be a huge plus but not required. Starting pay rate is based on qualifications and ability.
Hours: Daylight 9am to 9pm or Night shift 9pm to 9am
Pay rates: Based on experience and ability but up to $21 per hour with the shift differential included.

Job Details:
Schedule: 2-2-3 work schedule - ask your recruiter for details but you work 4 days one week then 3 days the next week these are 12 hour shifts.Hours: Daylight 9am to 9pm or Night shift 9pm to 9am
Pay rates: Based on experience and ability but up to $21 per hour with the shift differential included.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform tooling changes, and die changes on multiple production lines in the facility as the work orders change.
- Die cleaning of molds or dies coming out of machine as needed.
- Monitor quality of product using tape measure, dial calipers and visual inspection
- Properly record piece count, and machine running conditions and/or settings for each line make adjustments to ensure quality products are being produced.
- Monitor machine feed rate, and product profile configuration; adjust as needed to ensure product is with in specifications.
- Changing dies in and out of production line. (need to have a strong mechanical aptitude or skill set to do this requires use of hand and power tools to assemble and diss-assemble machine.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- One to three years of experience and or training in a manufacturing environment doing machine operation in a semi automated environment would be preferred
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms
- Ability to measure is a must, have to be able to read a tape measure
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing
- Repetitive lifting
- Push/ pulling of loaded cart
